Changelog
28 October 2026
- Two-winding transformers and flyback circuits now use differential flywheel mechanics, with a live Properties close-up. Wheels follow their own winding currents; the carrier represents shared magnetization and energy.
- Retained reviewed improvements to example startup, component selection, particle rendering and Auto arrange. Model settings follow Undo/Redo correctly, and saturating memory circuits retain the full settling search.
Three/four-winding graphics and ordinary inductors retain their existing designs. Gearing is illustrative; ratios remain exact in motion while extreme gear sizes are compressed. Leakage energy is additional to the carrier rim. Existing saved schema-1 circuits remain supported.

Added
- Native memory component and three editable examples: AC comparison, programming/hold and initial-state comparison.
- Browser-local schematics with autosaved drafts, Save checkpoints, inline names and Delete with Undo/Redo.
- Integrated Community and private Feedback through the activated FormSubmit inbox.
- Optional consent-based PostHog alongside Umami; matching source downloads, licence/provenance manifests and full dependency notices.
Changed
- Native grouped circuit menu and compact Run/Pause, speed and loop.
- Component/pipe dragging opens Builder; clicking opens Properties. Expanded waveform statistics and calculations.
- Dark schematic canvas, tapered memory plug and enlarged wheel. Ideal starts without Transients; Leakage enables Transients while keeping physical support guards.
Fixed
- Discard restores the example identity. Browser-storage failures preserve drafts/history; deletion markers prevent other tabs resurrecting deleted schematics.
- Shared small-winding and particle-flow geometry across junctions, reversal and zero flow.
Community remains a local demonstration: drafts and simulated approval are not uploaded or published. Old drafts retain their original terms. Existing schema-1 documents remain supported. Analytics requires a fresh allow choice after adding PostHog; declines remain off, and consent is separate on each domain.
Known limits: native menu placement is controlled by your OS; imports/leakage support is bounded; half-bridge steady settling may be unavailable; solve work runs on the main thread. The flow/memory mechanism illustrates an educational model. DTU network access to inertance.org remains a separate DNS issue; the mirror is available.
