# Software licence and provenance

Inertance simulator and website software is offered under AGPL-3.0-or-later.
Copyright © 2026 Lucas Wybrandt for his copyrightable contributions; other
copyright holders retain their rights. Development includes AI assistance and
human selection, design review and editing. This does not assert copyright in
ideas, equations, functional shapes or every generated element. See LICENSE.

This grant covers the project's authored simulator modules, shells, build/control
scripts, browser integrations and embedded software graphics, subject to existing
third-party notices. Private research, downloaded course/paper material and
unrelated experiments are not newly licensed by this notice. Existing grants are
preserved. No warranty is provided to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The native memristor helpers and plug/meter/rack rendering adapt the Inertance
demo at private cwas revision 3e58764a863c77a977314100d433467a3c5505e3;
its separate RK4 solver is not the native network solver. The educational
constitutive model follows Strukov et al. (2008, correction 2009) and the optional
Biolek/Biolek/Biolkova window (2009). Scholarly references do not license copied
paper figures, prose or code. The mechanism is an illustration, not calibrated
hydraulics. Lucas reports no employment, sponsored/group project or another
person's contributions. This records his declaration, not institutional endorsement.

Standalone teaching content is licensed only as listed in CONTENT-LICENSE.md.
Names/branding identify the official project; identify modified versions clearly
and avoid implying endorsement. No registered trademark or patent coverage is claimed.
