# Contributing to Inertance

You retain your rights. Contribute your own software under AGPL-3.0-or-later;
preserve third-party notices and identify external sources and material AI
assistance. Use a Signed-off-by line under the unaltered Developer Certificate of
Origin 1.1: https://developercertificate.org/ . It certifies your right to
contribute and becomes part of the public record; it is not a copyright assignment
or permission for proprietary relicensing. Submit only material you may contribute.

For an actual circuit/content contribution through a supported route, offer your
own schematic data, explanation and standalone teaching illustrations under CC
BY-SA 4.0: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode.en . Identify
any software separately under AGPL-3.0-or-later and all external authors/licences.
Facts/topologies do not become owned by offering a schematic. Do not submit
confidential designs, copied course figures without permission or others' personal
data. Use the display name you intend for public credit. Review may lead to
modification/publication under these licences; submission does not guarantee
acceptance, accuracy or endorsement. Grants already received cannot simply be
withdrawn while licence conditions are met; stopping hosting cannot recall copies.

Community currently saves only local drafts and simulated reviews. Nothing is
sent, received or accepted by the project. A local checkbox records understanding
of proposed future terms, not a grant received by Lucas. Old drafts retain their
original terms. Sharing exports exclude private contact and show the applicable
terms version; obtain actual rights acceptance before any real publication.
GitHub issues and attachments are public: never include private email or secrets.
The private Feedback form is for messages, not circuit contribution intake;
feedback is not automatically offered under a reuse licence or published.
